      Our Engineering Net Zero (ENZ) programme is a crucial part of our strategy to embed sustainability in everything we do. Our aim is to deliver value for our clients across the whole life cycle of their operations as they seek to decarbonise.

      We are looking for a Principal or Associate level carbon consultant to join our Engineering Net Zero Programme Team. This will be an influential role on a global platform addressing one of the top business priorities for SNC Lavalin. As such, the role will be highly visible across the global business with regular interactions with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders including Managing Directors and our Operational Leadership Team.

      Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability prioritise and establish structure and governance whilst engaging with stakeholders, both internal and external, across the globe.

      We have a wide network of UK offices so are flexible as to where the individual is based but occasional travel may be required

      Your Role With Us

      The ENZ team works at an organisational level to provide strategic subject matter expertise and develop innovative approaches to carbon management. You will work as an integral part of this small team developing approaches to carbon measurement and reduction for bids and projects across a range of markets, and supporting the roll out of these approaches and changes across the business.

      The role entails working collaboratively bringing together people from across the global businesses to develop and share ideas. Knowledge sharing and upskilling others is also an important part of the role.

      Who we are looking for?

      We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of, and passion for the Net Zero agenda. You will be carbon literate with experience of carbon measurement and assessment. Ideally you will be familiar with a range of infrastructure market sectors, including (but not limited to) water, transportation, aviation and energy. You will be able to work proactively and independently with the ability to prioritise and focus effort where the greatest benefits can be delivered
