- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to support Dematic’s software solutions.
- Align Dematic’s business needs with the infrastructure environment and technology.
- Collaborate with Product and technical leaders to build a cloud services-based roadmap.
- Work with PMs, Engineers, and DevOps to maintain the integrity and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on technical and execution leadership for cloud infrastructure projects.
- Develop a solid understanding of critical systems and processes, drive continuous improvements, and spot opportunities for simplification and automation.
- Define and implement infrastructure designs to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain and drive architectural integrity throughout the cloud environment.
- Foster a strong engineering culture by partnering closely with application engineering teams and helping them develop their cloud infrastructure expertise.
- Actively participate in the Software R&D Architecture Board.
- Develop strategic partnerships with third-party service and software providers to enable rapid market delivery of products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technology, software development, implementation, and support of systems, applications, and tools.
- 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and leading cloud infrastructure (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure automation tools and technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of Agile/Lean/DevOps methodologies, and experience with agile software development, modern DevOps practices, and release cycles.
- Familiarity with highly available data center operations, including networking, server hardware, storage, application server, and network security.
- Ability to influence and work effectively across all levels in business and technology organizations and with external vendors.
- Strong ability to present complex topics to various audiences, including business and technology leaders and technologists.
- Expert understanding and use of standard infrastructure design patterns.
- Ability to think strategically and align design and architecture patterns to meet current needs and future growth.
- Strong technical leadership with change management skills
This is a great opportunity for an experienced cloud architect to apply creative problem-solving skills that will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to support Dematic’s software solutions. This role is a combination of a hands-on execution leadership for cloud infrastructure projects driving the architectural integrity throughout the cloud projects while maintaining high availability, scalability, and reliability.What we offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $94,000-$198,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
