Experiment with state-of-the-art methods in camera-based 3D reconstruction, structure from motion, neural rendering, depth estimation, and/or map perception.
Train neural networks on large-scale in-house autonomous driving and mapping datasets.
Analyze experimental results and come up with ways to improve the accuracy and scalability of 3D reconstruction and map creation.
Integrate models to our HD map creation pipeline to achieve end-to-end improvements in map quality.
Profile and optimize the performance of neural networks as well as end-to-end systems.
Collaborate with researchers and engineers across several organizations.
BS, MS, or PhD degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
15+ years of relevant work experience
Extensive experience with Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
Experience with deep neural network training in leading frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Solid fundamentals in 3D computer vision, such as linear algebra, camera models, and structure from motion.
Experience with 3D reconstruction, structure from motion, neural reconstruction, depth estimation, and/or map creation.
Experience in autonomous driving: evidence of practical experiments and projects within the autonomous driving domain, showcasing your ability to apply machine learning algorithms to solve sophisticated problems in this field.
Published research: particularly around 3D reconstruction demonstrating a deep understanding and contribution to the field.
We are looking for a hard-working team member to contribute to our autonomous driving mapping product! The role involves applying deep learning and computer vision technologies to build 3D ground truth and HD maps for autonomous vehicles without using lidars. Our work is critical to leveraging the consumer fleet to provide efficient HD maps and improve on-car map perception models. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of researchers and engineers in the field of 3D reconstruction and mapping to deliver impact to our customers around the world!
