Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Business Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the development and enhancement of CATT (Consolidated Audit Trail Tracking) regulatory reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements within the financial services industry and a proven track record in business analysis, particularly in trade and transaction reporting systems.
Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements for CATT reporting.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, technology, and data teams to define functional specifications.
• Translate regulatory rules into business and system requirements.
• Assist in the design and development of solutions that ensure timely and accurate CATT reporting.
• Conduct data analysis and mapping to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in testing activities, including test case creation, UAT support, and defect triaging.
• Monitor ongoing regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing reporting processes.
• Support project management and delivery by providing status updates, risk assessments, and issue tracking.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degreePreferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Strong knowledge of CATT and U.S. regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA).
• Experience with trade lifecycle management and front-to-back trade flows.
• Proficient in writing business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
• Strong analytical and data skills; experience with SQL or data analysis tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Experience in Agile project environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
