- Analyze complex business problems using advanced analytical and data science techniques, modeling methods and programming to synthesize deep insights about how our customers use a combination of channels to interact with Wells Fargo including interactions within the Branch, Call Centers and Digital
- Be a subject matter expert in data sources that consolidate cross channel interaction data; Help to continually improve the quality of data by developing and incorporating new sources of channel interaction data
- Lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges associated with cross channel customer interactions by delivering data driven insights using advanced analytical and data science techniques
- Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the company to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven analytical insights, trends, and patterns; serve as an expert advisor to leadership; represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical events
- As necessary, execute the most complex analytical experiments and build innovative statistical models to identify opportunities within the area of cross channel customer interactions
- Communicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels, including executive leadership, across the company
- Respond to requests for cross channel data and insights from partner teams in a timely manner
- 10+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
- Knowledge of or prior experience in banking and/or operations strategy or related areas
- Knowledge of or prior experience of data solutions and the use of next generation tools (e.g. AI models)
- Knowledge of or prior experience with data tools like Teradata, SQL Server; experience with SQL, SAS or other data management programming languages
- Ability to travel up to 10%
