What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain application code
- Develop high-performance services across multiple regions
- Participate in designing efficient, scalable, and maintainable architecture
- Analyze metrics to drive implementation decisions
- Mentor and share knowledge with team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- 7-10 years of software development experience
- Ability to apply functional and object-oriented paradigms
- Experience with designing and interacting with complex data models
- Strong understanding of REST principles and API design
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Golang, Java, C#, Python, or Ruby/Rails
- Knowledge of object/document data storage technologies
- Familiarity with caching and in-memory database technologies
- Understanding of asynchronous/multi-threaded programming patterns
- Proficiency in message queuing technologies/strategies
