What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, develop, rollout, and provide governance for key strategies/programs across the manufacturing platform
- Develop labor reducing/cost-saving automation projects using subject matter expertise and 3rd party engineering
- Stay current with industry regulations and codes related to packaging equipment system design and operations
- Provide technical and economic feasibility analysis for improvements to the current state
- Develop Front-End-Loading packages (FEL's) for project success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Packaging Engineering
- Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing automation/robotic solutions
- Experience in Project Engineering and project execution
- 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing with packaging system design
- Experience leading teams and technical analysis and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a USDA/FDA food manufacturing environment
