- Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS). Familiarity with federal/state procurement processes, data residency, and compliance standards.
- We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Delivery Manager with a proven track record in leading end-to-end Salesforce implementations, particularly in the public sector (federal, state, or local government).
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory compliance, and industry’s best practices.
- Project Delivery & Management Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects using Agile and hybrid methodologies. Define delivery plans, resource allocation, sprint planning, and milestone tracking.
- Manage risks, dependencies, issues, and scope changes proactively.
- Ensure delivery meets contractual obligations and SLAs.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements within the public sector.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with government stakeholders.
- Translate client needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with agency goals.
- Solution Oversight & Quality Assurance Oversee solution architecture and technical design validation. Ensure Salesforce best practices, compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, etc.), and security protocols are followed.
- Validate configuration and custom development meet quality standards. Team Leadership & Development Manage cross-functional teams including developers, architects, business analysts, and QA testers.
- Mentor and coach team members on delivery excellence and government-specific compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across delivery teams. Public Sector Expertise Understand the regulatory, security, and procurement nuances of public sector environments.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to public sector compliance frameworks and accessibility standards (e.g., 508 compliance).
- Stay updated on evolving public sector CRM needs and Salesforce Government Cloud capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce project delivery.
- 3+ years in a Delivery Manager or similar leadership role. Proven experience delivering Salesforce projects for public sector clients (e.g., agencies, ministries, municipalities). Strong understanding of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead distributed teams.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external government systems or legacy platforms.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic client environments. Proven leadership and team-building skills.
