Summary: The Principal Industrial Designer with a focus on Concept and Product Visualization is a creative and versatile professional responsible for producing high-quality visual content across various digital media. This role leverages AI & traditional technologies to product and enhance the visualization of our product designs, improve efficiency, and create new workflows in the design process. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-enhanced multimedia content that supports the company’s marketing and communication strategies. The ability to create industry leading visual assets is a foundational tenant to this role. Responsibilities: -Use 3D CAD and Generative AI tools to produce high-quality digital renderings and visualizations for products, concepts, and marketing materials, ensuring photorealistic quality and innovative designs. -Create captivating visuals and animations that communicate design intent and product narrative. -Design and produce animations for use in videos, websites, presentations, and other digital platforms, leveraging AI for faster production and advanced effects. -Create interactive media elements, such as animated infographics, interactive presentations, and web animations, using AI to enhance user engagement and interactivity. -Support AI-driven initiatives and help identify areas where AI can enhance Design processes. -Research and recommend AI tools to integrate into Design workflows. -Participate in training sessions on AI tools and continuously develop skills to leverage these tools effectively. -Plan and share visual development workflow, identifying opportunities and gaps. -Present to cross-functional leadership, sharing updates and best practices. -Promote AI benefits within the design team, participating in workshops and presentations. -Coach, teach and advocate for world class presentation technique across the business. -Help position the company as an innovator in AI-driven design by showcasing successful AI projects. Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or Visual Arts with 7+ years of relevant experience. -7+ years of experience in Industrial Design and/or executing digital commercial assets for email, websites, and social media. -Proven track record of producing high-quality multimedia content across various media platforms, with experience using AI tools preferred. -Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition, with AI assisting in maintaining high standards. 3-D Design: Experience with 3D design and modeling software such as Blender, SolidWorks, Rhino, Unreal Engine and Keyshot with AI tools for 3D content creation. -Skills in photography and photo editing, with AI for automated editing and enhancements. -Proven ability to drive efficiency in design process and demonstrated evidence of operational awareness. -Practical knowledge of Ai tools – Text to image, image to image, and image to 3D software -Highly detail-oriented and passionate about design, with a solid understanding of industry trends and marketplace. -Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Strong presentation skills. -Expertise in facilitating group discussions, managing group dynamics, and guiding teams toward actionable outcomes. -Proactive and action oriented. Comfortable with ambiguity -Pragmatic with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate passion for a brand, drive consensus, and foster creative collaboration. -Team player with enthusiasm, working directly with both internal and external partners in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. -Appetite for learning and taking on new challenges. -Hands-on understanding of front-end development and responsive design preferred. -Able to travel at least once per quarter -Ability to translate ideas using 3D modelling programs
