The Schuylkill Valley School District seeks an innovative, visionary leader to become our middle School Principal. This is a 12-month position and the minimum salary is $90,000. Position is available July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic instructional leader who possesses a sincere interest in working with students, staff, and the Schuylkill Valley community as we strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each student is challenged to think critically, problem-solve, create, and communicate as we prepare them to be responsible and contributing members of society. Qualifications:

A proven record of leadership in curriculum, instruction, technology, and teacher supervision are essential for a candidate's success in this position. PA administrative certification, two or more years of assistant principal experience, middle school/high school classroom experience, understanding of middle level education, demonstrated ability to successfully lead individuals and initiatives, leadership abilities in the area of student achievement and ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others are required. Principal experience preferred.
