- Network Architecture & Design:
- Lead the design and architecture of network infrastructure for multi-datacenter and hybrid Azure Cloud environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of networks across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Design and implement advanced routing and switching solutions using Cisco technologies.
- Firewall & Security:
- Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls to ensure comprehensive security and compliance, including IPSec VPN, DMVPN, NAT, SSL VPN, and access rules.
- Detailed knowledge of Cisco network infrastructure:
- Traditional Cisco Networking, Catalyst/Nexus switching, routing (IOS/IOS-XE), EIGRP, BGP, other protocols, firmware management.
- Network Security & Compliance:
- Develop and implement security strategies, incorporate firewall rules, access controls, threat detection, and ensure compliance with PCI, SOX, GDPR.
- SD-WAN with Meraki:
- Design and manage SD-WAN solutions, optimize performance and security, and ensure reliable connectivity across locations.
- Hybrid Cloud Networking (Azure):
- Design, implement, and manage Azure network infrastructure, ensuring secure integration with on-premise systems using VPN, ExpressRoute, etc.
- Load Balancing & Traffic Management:
- Manage F5 load balancers, implement global traffic management, and ensure system availability.
- Disaster Recovery & Automation:
- Automate disaster recovery processes, implement strategies for rapid failover and business continuity.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Implement network monitoring tools like SolarWinds Orion, NPM, NCM, NTA, SNMP, Wireshark; lead root cause analysis and prevent future issues.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work with security, cloud, and systems teams; mentor junior engineers and operational staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8-10+ years in network engineering, with expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, SD-WAN (Meraki), F5, routing, switching, and network design.
- Experience in regulated environments like banking, finance, or government sectors.
- Strong Azure Cloud networking experience, including VPN, ExpressRoute, hybrid connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP networking.
- Designing and managing multi-datacenter and hybrid cloud network solutions (Azure preferred).
- Firewall management expertise (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.), routing protocols, SD-WAN, load balancing, automation, security protocols, and standards.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, F5, Meraki, Azure Networking highly desirable.
- Experience with SDN, network automation, multi-location enterprise environments, Agile, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.

Position Overview
