      The impact you will have in this role:

      Being a member of the Network Services team, the Associate Director of Platform Engineering will be driving modifications, automation, and process improvement through advising partners and product ownership of NextGen Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, and Network Security Analytics. The assigned account portfolio includes DTCC's most sophisticated and strategically important customers. In addition, the Associate Director must understand and adhere to all AML/BSA policies & procedures, recognize and report client behavioral Red Flags, and apply all other applicable compliance-related policies and procedures.

      Your Primary Responsibilities:

      • Display strategic understanding of clients’ business priorities and market segment to define how to match their needs with DTCC products, services and other corporate objectives/initiatives.
      • Build and nurture client relationships across the most senior levels of client management to expand product & service utilization.
      • Work effectively with senior management across functions and internal teams to understand and deliver on enterprise and/or client objectives.
      • Communicate client and industry insights through call reports and other tools and bring up information, as warranted, with appropriate Executive Management.
      • Act as client “advocate” and raise issues/concerns as warranted to management to ensure client needs are being appropriately addressed.

      **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.**

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 10 years in IT working in sophisticated high reliability global environments.
      • Minimum 10 years of experience in networking or network security on the following technologies: routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANS, High Availability architect, VRFs, IPSEC, policy enforcement IPS, DNS, Network Segmentation and DDOS. Private/Public is a plus.
      • Minimum 7 years of experience in F5 Load Balancers and Blue Coat Proxies.
      • Hands-on experience in migrating F5 Load Balancers with minimal interruption and high availability and reliability architect.
      • Experience in using F5 BigIP and related tools for load balancers and Proxies.

      Talents Needed for Success:

      • In-depth knowledge of securities industry and business applications for banks, brokers, investment managers, etc.
      • Proficient in troubleshooting (TCPDUMP, FWMONITOR, ZDEBUG), analyzing sniffer and packet captures.
      • Work experience with Wireless and Cisco ISE technologies is a plus.
      • Experienced working in a multi-vendor environment with strong experience with the following vendors Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Z-Scaler, and Bluecoat
      • Strong VLAN, routing protocols, policy enforcement and security analysis skills.
      • Self-starter, independent worker, and standout colleague.
      • Familiarity with ITSM – Request Management, Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management.
      • Knowledge and expertise in disaster recovery exercises.
      • Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools: QRADAR, CAPM, SolarWinds, Net Brain.
      • Compliance and audit experience would be a plus.

      The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
