      Role Description:

      PJT Park Hill Real Estate is seeking an experienced industry professional for its US Distribution Team in New York or Chicago. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, interpersonal, client management, analytical and writing skills, as well as an exemplary work ethic, strong attention to detail and the ability to work well both independently and within teams on a boutique investment advisory platform.

      Candidates for the position must possess knowledge of and interest in the alternative asset industry, as well as at least ten years of prior finance experience. Ideal candidates have a background in private placements, investment banking, alternative asset investor relations or similar fields. The job requires the ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints, interact effectively with clients and demonstrate great attention to detail.

      Responsibilities:

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Marketing 10 to 15 products across the risk spectrum of real estate funds, joint ventures and direct asset/portfolios, from core plus to opportunistic;
      • Providing expert product and market content as a trusted advisor to Park Hill clients;
      • Possessing and further cultivating a deep understanding of real estate fund as well as other product offerings and the ability to sell consultatively;
      • Embracing a culture of collaboration and teamwork;
      • Willing to travel extensively, keep meticulous records and work very closely with project management team and senior partners;
      • Understanding the differentiated investment processes across our client base, having excellent follow up skills and a proven ability to close commitments.

      Qualifications:

      PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.

      • 10+ years of experience in the real estate or related private equity field (i.e., acquisitions, capital raising, fund formation, etc.), ideally in a distribution capacity;
      • US regulatory licenses or willingness to obtain these licenses;
      • Proven track record in current role;
      • Demonstrable track record of building long-term client relationships;
      • Strong knowledge of the markets / competitive landscape;
      • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to handle multiple projects at a time;
      • A self-starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a global team;
      • Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
      • Strong work ethic, genuine passion for excellence, results-oriented;
      • Personal and professional integrity of the highest order;
      • Entrepreneurial outlook.

      Expected annualized base salary of $300,000 to $350,000.

      This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

      Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
