Job Description
- Req#: 515696
- Lead complex strategy, policy and program development and management across the department’s breadth of work, supported by relevant research, investigation and analysis.
- Represent State Growth as required and deliver timely, relevant and authoritative policy and project advice on matters of strategic importance to the Tasmanian Government.
- Plan and manage the delivery of projects and tasks in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders using appropriate management tools and techniques to ensure milestones are achieved and outcomes delivered on time and within resource constraints.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and information networks to ensure the delivery of agreed project outcomes.
- Assist with the supervision and mentoring of branch or project staff as may be required, and actively contribute to a positive team environment in keeping with State Growth’s values.
- Proactively contribute to the development of Strategy, Policy and Coordination’s policy initiatives, project management and business practices.

Desirable Requirements
A degree in a relevant discipline such as public policy, law, economics, etc.
