      About the Role

      We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to help Tempo define and build the core user experience for Tempo’s customers. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product, marketing, engineering, design, and content to help our customers form fitness habits and set people on a path to achieve their goals.

      You will work directly with Tempo Sr. Leadership in bringing Product Strategy to life, setting priorities while driving day-to-day execution. You’ll foster a team culture and processes to integrate hardware, software, AI, and content seamlessly to create engaging and rewarding products.

      This role is based in San Francisco and has a hybrid schedule (onsite 2 days per week).

      Responsibilities:

      • Drive vision, strategy, and execution in building out new products and features
      • Manage product execution from ideation to launch; define requirements, initiate and prioritize projects within engineering, assist in determining the best technical implementation, track product development, and develop product launch plans
      • Prioritize initiatives & features based on strategic goals and initiatives
      • Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics
      • Work with internal/external parties to determine requirements and feasibility of features
      • Prioritize features based on needs and timeline
      • Build consensus around product roadmap across the company
      • Analyze the market and work with both customers and internal teams to determine what we should solve for next

      Qualifications:

      • 7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally at a consumer company focusing on customer experiences and engagement
      • Experience building product roadmaps and driving product vision
      • Experience with successfully running complex projects that cross multiple functions or departments
      • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and post-launch optimizations
      • Strong analytical skills and deep familiarity with using different types of research to learn about users
      • Demonstrated cross team communication ability with superb relationship building and communication skills to align teams
      • Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
      • Exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills
      • Passion for fitness
