What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and drive security and compliance requirements for the NGINX portfolio
- Partner with F5 Security team and the WAF, WAAP, DoS PM owners to develop product strategies and roadmaps
- Define problem statements and product requirements with a customer and community focus
- Design and prioritize security features and standards considering market trends and customer needs
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver new features
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in application security
- Solid understanding of networking, layer 3/4 networking (TCP/UDP), Programmability at the data plane and control plane (REST, OpenAPI), and knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, Certificates, etc.
- Solid understanding of application delivery and application security concepts
- Understanding of Kubernetes, containers, microservices and related environments, and cloud-native ecosystem
- 10+ years of experience as a product manager, technical product manager, or equivalent
