      A little about us

At Yahoo News, we are building the best guide to the Internet (and the world) by making it easy to discover the most useful and interesting content online. We do this by collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality content and engaging experiences to the 35 million users who come to us everyday. Under a new leadership team, we are committed to revitalizing this well-recognized and reliable source of breaking news, entertainment and lifestyle content and positioning it for the future. As part of an effort to make discovery delightful and become the world’s best curator, we are focused on expanding and improving our Yahoo for Publishers (Y4P) program, which plays a vital role in our digital media strategy.

Yahoo for Publishers (Y4P) is a brand new, comprehensive program to develop independent publishers as well as individual content creators to deliver a more robust, higher quality content experience to the Yahoo audience. You will apply a crisp understanding of the product development cycle with a keen ability to break down large, sophisticated, occasionally ambiguous, problems into well-defined, manageable problems, using data and research to inform your judgment. We're looking for an impressive individual who is passionate about all aspects of product management, takes ownership of the details, finds creative ways to make iterative progress, and communicates well with a variety of stakeholders. You are obsessed with users, with experience and in-depth knowledge of the News and consumer media space, including payments, metrics and tooling-related technologies (e.g. content management systems).
