      About the role

      The Principal Program Manager will be responsible for driving key initiatives within the ShowingTime+ (ST+) business and will report directly to the Director of ST+ Business Operations. This person will serve as the subject matter expert for the broader organization on Six Sigma principles, Continuous Improvement, and Systemic Program Management for ST+. If there is a key Operational initiative that impacts ST+, this person will be leading the charge.

      This role will

      • Define and drive cross-functional processes to execute on key ST+ initiatives.
      • Drive step-change value for ST+ Operational L1 metrics, L1 metrics represent the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that are reported to the Zillow C-Suite weekly
      • Drive Adoption of ST+ key business lines helping to ensure we can help more end users with our products
      • Create process where none exist, will improve process where they do, and will ensure all processes are within control
      • Dive into the data to identify problems and solutions that help optimize the business, effectively communicate and help the business implement those solutions
      • Perform data analysis and validation for creation, and ongoing curation, of recurring business and operational reports, dashboards, as well as ad hoc projects

      This role has been categorized as a Hybrid position. “Hybrid” employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 10 to 80 percent of their time each month, and the rest of the time they may work from a remote physical location of their choice within a reasonable commuting distance from the corporate office which must be identified to the Company in advance. The Recruiter and Hiring Manager will set expectations on the employee’s preferred time in office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.

      In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $121,700.00 - $194,300.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

      In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

      Who you are

      This is an emerging product area, and the team needs a strategic and forward-looking PM who has experience with building for scale. You will have led global or national programs that span multiple quarters and impact multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Strategy.

      • Strongly Technical: 10+ years experience in product or program management in the software industry and bachelor degree or greater (MBA preferred)
      • Operational Experience: You will have led or influenced programs that leveraged Queuing Theory, Six Sigma Principles, or Continuous Improvement impacting large teams
      • Effective communicator (written and verbal). Able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
      • The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile and collaborative cross-team environment
      • Have a highly analytical approach, with experience enabling rapid and high-quality decision making in a fast-paced environment
      • Experience with Tableau and SQL
