What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and test automotive infotainment application software using C/C++
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and systems teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software
- Lead strategic action plans to support business goals and embrace agile software development practices
- Facilitate partnerships with key engineering and product teams to deliver holistic infotainment solutions
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience leading and developing Infotainment HMI Applications
- Proven experience leading global teams in a product-driven organization
- Strong troubleshooting skills and focus on customer experience in complex technical environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 15+ years of experience leading engineering teams in embedded software development using C/C++
- Leadership experience in developing and testing automotive infotainment applications for radios and instrument panel clusters
- Experience with ASIL A-D safety compliance and managing geographically dispersed teams
- Familiarity with automotive embedded systems and tools such as IDEs, Jira, and Git
- High level of understanding of GM Vehicle Development Process
