      Job Summary:

      Raytheon, an RTX business, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Principal Specialist (grade P3) to join the Agile Radar Solution (ARS) Production Sub Business Unit (SBU). This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

      The ARS Production portfolio consists of domestic and international programs and all contract types. This position is in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment with an emphasis on skills in forecasting, large data analysis, and leadership communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading consolidation, analysis, the forecasting of financial metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, Cash, NBI, Overhead, and Capital), Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP), and Long Range Strategic Planning across the ARS Production portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing results and recommendations to Senior Levels of management.

      Success in this role will be dictated by one’s ability to meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities. The lead will need to analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions. The candidate will need to exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis within the ARS Production portfolio. This role must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.

      Responsibilities to Anticipate:

      • Lead the period-closing activities and facilitate the weekly/monthly cadence across ARS Production for inputs, reviews, and on-time submittal of deliverables to ARS FP&A.

      • Drive efficiencies through process improvement and grow FP&A best practices across ARS Production

      • Influence and collaborate with matrixed teams, functional peers, and leadership.

      • Support accurate and timely analysis of financial performance, key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, Cash), elements of cost, and provide early identification and communication of issues impacting financial performance.

      • Help coordinate the ARS Production Risk & Opportunities process, driving predictability and accuracy.

      • Provide support to ARS Production Balance Sheet, Overhead, and Investment activities including Capital projects, NBI spending, CFRs and ARs.

      • Help drive the schedule for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) activities to meet the ARS deadlines.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Typically, candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of applicable experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of relatable experience. (Preferred degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field).

      • Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes.

      • Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis concepts, related systems, and processes.

      • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products.

      • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to success.

      • Strong ability to self-manage / prioritize workload.

      • Demonstrated ability to collect, synthesize, and distribute information through various lenses for decision making.

      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

      • Ability to perform independently and in team environments.

      Additional Information:

      • This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, FP&A.

      • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

      • Relocation assistance is not available.

      The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

      Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

      This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
