Job Description

- Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
- Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents
- Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes)
- Review quotes, analyze results and lead negotiation plans / strategies as well as address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements
- Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures
- Perform routine post-award management activities
- Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Able to support travel (up to 25%)
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience in Government procurement
- SAP experience
- Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
- Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.

Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be a part of high-level activity and collaborative environment as part of our Electronics Commodity procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall procurement activities for material supporting the Raytheon business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers and functional areas to support a broad portfolio of programs across Raytheon.
