- Sources and procures goods and services of a commodity nature from many suppliers
- Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers
- In conjunction with quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules
- Works with internal customers to ensure specifications are appropriate for the services or products required
- Identifies opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through targeted negotiations and optimize volume pricing through bid package strategies
- Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders
- Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources
- Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution
- Employs sound business practices and assesses supplier performance as part of follow-up activities
- Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics/transportation & warehouse organization so that proper receipt is recorded
- Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed
- Runs and analyzes metrics reports and disperses to key contacts and departments
- Assist in the design and maintenance of team SharePoint/Teams sites
- Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry
- Site GSC Metrics reporting and data analysis
- Audit Support
- Site GSC Sharepoint and Teams administration
- May also support material and labor forecasting projects
- Utilizes process tools such as Lean Six Sigma with suppliers to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management, Operations, Business Management and/or related field; 4+ years with a Masters; in lieu of a Bachelors degree, 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, or project/business management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
- Experience with FAR/DFAR
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Experience with Tabelau, Power PI, SharePoint and Teams
- Experience with conducting and workload management a plus.

Position is based from our Sunnyvale, CA office and provides an option for a hybrid or full telecommute schedule.
