      We are looking for a Principal Software System Engineer (f/m/d) to drive 6G system engineering within the CTO System Innovation team.

      Your Responsibilities:

      • System engineering for 6G with focus on software

      • Managing technical coordination and participate in 6G system software architecture definition

      • Define software requirements and software layer structure for 6G systems

      • Develop software prototypes of intermediate solutions, system demonstrators and reference designs

      • Contribute to 6G use case and system requirements and play an active role in 6G standardization

      • Cooperation with research & innovation partners as well as with customers

      Your Profile:

      • Have a master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

      • Several years of experience in a similar position

      • Have good knowledge on the fundamentals in embedded software development

      • Knowledge of standards/architecture definitions (3GPP, O-RAN, …)

      • Experience in hands-on SW development with commonly used development tools and programming languages

      • Beneficial: Have hands on experience on implementing solutions on NXP products & development platforms

      • Have good strategic thinking skills, driving & result oriented personality

      • Have good communication and networking skills

      • Be a team player, engaged, self-motivated with an adaptive way of working

      • Have good English spoken & written skills (German would be an asset)
