What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Tech Art Team and Engineering to build art pipeline frameworks and artist-facing tools
- Modify and enhance internal artist-based tools, analyzing and resolving bugs as necessary
- Engage with end users to understand requirements and validate functionality upon tool completion
- Participate in team discussions and planning, breaking down tasks and providing time estimates for execution
- Troubleshoot production issues related to tools and art creation workflows
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of experience as a technical artist in games or related industries
- Expertise with Maya, Unreal Engine 5, and scripting in Python
- Experience with 3D character-based game production pipelines
- Experience in building long-term maintainable, testable, portable, and stable systems
- Highly proficient communication and strong critical thinking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing Unreal 5 Blueprints
- Experience programming in C++
