      Our client is a disruptive drug discovery company who are revolutionizing the Biotech industry. They have an opening for a Principal or Staff Level Machine Learning Engineer to join the team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and scaling state-of-the-art computer vision and multi-modal models.

      Responsibilities

      • As the Principal/Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will implement and optimize complex computer vision and multi-modal model architecture.
      • Work closely with the Engineering team and ML Scientists to turn ideas into robust, production-grade systems.
      • Build robust training pipelines for large-scale vision and multi-modal models.
      • Collaborate with top scientists, biostatisticians, and lab-automation experts to bring novel ML approaches to life.
      • Create efficient models and data components to optimize research and production model performance.

      Skillset

      • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
      • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing complex ML Systems.
      • Strong understanding of modern computer vision techniques.
      • Extensive experience optimizing large-scale deep learning models.
      • Expert knowledge of PyTorch internals and best practices.
      • Strong background in computer vision fundamentals.
      • Previous experience in the Biotech or Drug Discovery industry is a plus.
      • Previous experience in a startup environment is a bonus.
