      Responsibilities

      • Handles the print production of mailings from start to finish, as assigned
      • Preps data files received from individual departments or from internal list management system
      • Formats letters in InDesign
      • Reviews and approves vendor proofs, for designed pieces coordinates approval with designers
      • Notifies mailroom team of postage usage for large mailings (over $8k) and BRM return mailings that require processing
      • Notifies director and communications team of mailing date and provides final PDFs
      • Ensures archiving of communications is managed properly and in a timely manner
      • Works with Manager to coordinate and maintain production calendar of regular projects, including mailings, electronic media, and phone campaigns
      • Processes vendor invoices
      • Preps data received for electronic media
      • Submits print materials to in-house Copy Center or external vendors, as assigned
      • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

      Qualifications

      • High school Diploma or GED required; some college or degree preferred
      • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a communications environment and knowledge of the print production process preferred
      • Detailed-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills
      • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Suite (InDesign & Acrobat)
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, multi-task, make sound judgments, and prioritize work assignments
      • Must be able to work independently and be a team player
      • Must have or be able to quickly acquire and implement an in-depth knowledge and application of organizational and departmental program priorities (mission, goals, and objectives) and Fund policies and procedures
      • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external constituents
      • Work efficiently and accurately; maintain standard or better quality and production levels
      • Work within and maintain the confidentiality required of the organization and the department
