Job Description

- Create, edit, and manipulate graphics for multiple formats and productions.
- Review incoming artwork and create design layouts, adjusting photos and other documents needed for use by marketing and other divisions when requested.
- Manage and set up files for printing, editing, and proofing files.
- Communicate the status of projects regularly to key Rite-Hite personnel to set priorities and evaluate other graphic and print requests.
- Consults with customers, monitor work in progress and ensure that quality controls are in place and maintained.
- Prepares bid specifications, job entry, and billing for printing and manages purchasing reports and activities for the print shop.
- Sourcing materials and vendors needed for projects. Ensure a good working relationship with suppliers and customers by communicating our quality, delivery, and cost.
- Assist in print production processes – handling paper and other media.
- Monitor/maintain appropriate levels of inventory; tracking, reporting, stocking, etc. Maintain inventory levels on finished goods and production materials.
- Troubleshoot and work creatively to solve unexpected issues and research new ways to achieve better quality and efficiency.
- Other administrative support as needed.
- Large Format Solvent Printers/Cutters and RIP software
- This includes creating and updating current print and media settings documentation along with any troubleshooting information.
- Dye Sublimation Printer and RIP software
- Calibrate equipment and color match.
- B&W and Color Production Printers/Copiers/Scanners
- Various Paper/Media Cutting Equipment
- Additional equipment includes Folders, Laminators, Binders, and Slitters, etc.
- Maintain a customer-ready environment. This includes but is not limited to dusting, sweeping, emptying garbage & recycled materials as needed.
- Complete manufactures recommended maintenance and cleaning of all Print Shop equipment.
- This includes creating and updating documentation of when maintenance is completed, recording machine errors, and the solution when found.
- Assist when needed in packaging all FedEx, USPS, UPS, and Freight shipments and shipping equipment/software use.
- Determine the best means of shipping determined by the due date and costs.
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Large format printing experience is highly preferred.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite Software, especially Adobe Illustrator and/or other vector image manipulation software. Additionally, familiarity with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office is required for the position.
- Ability to work productively as part of a small team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be comfortable handling multiple assignments and simultaneously meeting customer needs on several jobs.
- This position requires attention to detail and, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing. The ability to communicate with a wide range of people, from engineers to sales, to technicians, to marketing colleagues, is essential.

Job Description:
The Print Shop Coordinator oversees a variety of tasks for producing printed materials. These tasks include graphic design/layout, printing, finishing, packaging, and shipping. It is essential that all jobs are completed within a timely manner and with the highest level of service for Rite-Hite companies, Arbon locations, DuctSox, and external clients as needed.
This position is responsible for print design and the general lead of the print shop. This entails prioritizing work assignments, establishing deadlines, giving general instructions, and reviewing completed work. The role also involves daily management of all operation areas within the print shop and coordinating methods and procedures to achieve cost-effective and efficient production.
