      Printer Repair Technician

      The Printer Repair Technician has a strong technical background in printer maintenance and repair, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of printers, both in-house and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for its customers.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Diagnose and troubleshoot printer issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
      • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of printers, including inkjet, laser, and multi-function devices.
      • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational needs.
      • Maintain accurate records of on-site work, including repairs performed and parts used.
      • Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
      • Keep up to date with the latest printer technology and repair techniques.
      • Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
      • Provide training and support to customers on printer operation and maintenance
      • Practice safety in the workplace and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or related field is preferred.
      • 1+ years proven experience in printer repair and maintenance, with knowledge of various printer brands and models.
      • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Familiarity with computer systems and networking is a plus.
      • Ability to travel as needed.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
      • Proficiency in Teams applications

      Requirements

      • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
      • Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial settings and offices.
      • The ability to pass a drug screen and backgriound check.

      Work Environment

      • Position primarily operates on the plant floor, with minimal time spent in the office for administrative tasks.
      • Position operates in a warehouse environment, with exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, and airborne particles. Some tasks may require office work for administrative duties or reporting purposes.
