Coordinate delivery of proofs and completed orders.
Provide consultative assistance to departments on creating print-ready files, choosing for materials and binding, types of paper, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with university identity standards.
Develop detailed print order specifications and solicit bids from external vendors and intra-agency sources.
Manage the purchase and replacement schedule of multi-functional devices (MFDs) across campus .
Maintain detailed records of MFD inventory, locations, and usage.
Review MFD usage reports and invoices and complete budgetary chargebacks.
Maintained detailed records of printing procurements and prepare reports as required .
Review print orders for accuracy and make corrections to files and/or artwork when necessary.
Prepare requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with State of Wisconsin procurement requirements.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.).
Ability to create, size and edit large format files.
Knowledge of printing industry standards including:
Printing processes (offset, digital, wide format, etc.)
Terminology and specifications
Paper and binding options
Cost estimation
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the campus community and with external vendors.
Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Knowledge of Wisconsin state procurement processes.
Experience with macOS operating systems.

The University of Wisconsin-Stout’s Purchasing and Materials Management department invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Printing Coordinator II. This is an on-campus position that is primarily responsible for the procurement of printed materials, including but not limited to posters, brochures, flyers, postcards, business cards, envelopes, and stationery. This position also provides consultative assistance to campus on the preparation of print-ready files and campus identity standards and administers the campus-wide managed print program. This is a full-time, non-exempt university staff position that reports directly to the Materials Management Supervisor.

Compensation:
Minimum starting salary of $24.04/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
