      Position Summary:

      The Prior Authorization and Scheduling Specialist is a position that will provide an efficient “one step” scheduling and prior authorization for patient testing, procedures and referrals/appointments.

      Training and Continued Education

      Minimum Education

      • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or higher preferred.
      • Knowledge and experience with computers and electronic medical record software, telephones, copy and fax machine.
      • Demonstrate knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits, and healthcare backgrounds.
