What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review complex claims, patient records, and hospital billing practices for discrepancies
- Update tracking and billing systems accordingly
- Conduct analytical research on pricing, reimbursement, and claim appeals
- Maintain relationships with customers and insurance organizations for successful reimbursement
- Process complex claims with accuracy

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education or equivalent
- 4 years of related experience in payor policies and reimbursement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Medicare audit, appeals, reimbursement, and medical terminology
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Licensed Medicare auditor or Certified Medical Audit Specialist
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite programs
- Working knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Demonstrated ability to pull data and migrate into online records management systems
