- Ensure safe patient care is delivered

- Lead and support a team of midwives ensuring that they have a PDR and clear achievable development plan

- Registered Midwife
- Teaching Qualification (mentorship) or equivalent experience.
- Graduate (degree/diploma) with specialist expertise across a range of midwifery procedures
- Management qualification or equivalent experience
- Two years experience at Band 6 in a relevant clinical setting.
- Experience of leading and developing a team.
- Knowledge of quality, standard setting, benchmarking and audit.
- Experience at Band 7 as a Midwifery team leader
- Registered Midwife
