THE ROLE
At Pernod Ricard Benelux, we are bringing our Ultra Prestige, Rare & Collectable champagne and spirits to the doorsteps of our clients.
To achieve this, we're looking for a Private Client Manager to play a critical role in the business model.
The Position is based in Amsterdam (NDSM) but covers Benelux market. It can requires to assist to events after working hours or during weekends.
MISSION & OBJECTIVES
· Recruit, build and maintain one-to-one relationships with VIPs and private clients in/across the Benelux
· Infiltrate the VIPs & private client world through the most relevant touchpoints and build strong relationships
· Build and maintain detailed VIP database with all contacts, qualifying and enriching the information on prospects and clients
· Activate consumer engagement brand experiences and sales events like tastings, dinners, product presentations
· Drive sales of Pernod Ricards ultra prestige products & collectable pieces to private clients, achieve budget goals and manage budget guidelines
· Be responsible for the execution of an ultra prestige experience throughout sales process (from product discovery to last mile delivery)
· Collaborate with our brand companies & our local marketing team to align on individualized activations, brand strategy & implementation plan for VIPs
· Collaborate and develop synergies with private client managers across Western Europe
· Lead the strategic development of Prestige portfolio consumer engagement programs to be developed and implemented by the VIP Activation Manager
· Build an internal network to facilitate introductions and opportunities for the target end consumer
· Identify appropriate opportunities / partnerships with luxury brands that already have direct relationships with our target end consumers
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
· You are a highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence others
· You must have a strong ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion, charisma, and enthusiasm. The role requires to focus on data collection, and detailed execution of end to end consumer engagement strategy
· You bring a luxury attitude and a keen understanding of the lifestyles / expectations of affluent consumers and private clients
· You have +5 Years experiences of sales and relationship / engagement management in luxury goods or wine & spirits industry
· You have strong selling and consumer engagement techniques and skills
· You know the Benelux market and already have a strong network of clients, ideally interested in champagne & spirits.
· You bring experience in developing brand activations, project management and ability to work within a cross-functional team
· You are fluent (Written and spoken) in Dutch and English
· You are flexible to work evenings and weekends as required
