What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer contacts via calls, emails, and chat
- Provide exceptional customer service while managing inquiries within established performance standards
- Maintain accurate data entry, coding, and documentation of all interactions
- Support hospital marketing efforts through referrals and event registration
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients, providers, and staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- Must be able to work Saturdays as needed
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage a high volume of contacts
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and security as outlined by HIPAA
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role, especially within healthcare
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and patient navigation
- Knowledge of MyChart or similar patient portal systems
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population
