      • Working hours - due to training and operational requirements, these roles will be based in Bracknell five days a week for the first three months followed by three days a week in Bracknell and two days working from home.

      • Salary range - the salary range for this role is £22,993 - £28,600.

      • Contract type - we have short term temporary / secondment positions available from 3-9 months.

      What’s the role about?

      The Centre for Accounting (CfA) team within Finance has some exciting opportunities to join the team as a Process Administrator in our Trade and Non-Trade teams.

      The Centre for Accounting interfaces into almost every part of our business, handling critical high volume transactions across the full breadth of our supply base including cash management, payments, invoicing, credit control, supplier queries and expenses. As well as developing processes, implementing improvement and resolving issues with internal stakeholders including our brands, farming, manufacturing, treasury, international sourcing offices and more. It's a fast-paced environment but a great place to learn, develop and grow your knowledge of Finance fundamentals. The team has fun along the way too - and have a real enthusiasm for supporting progression into the Finance function.

      What will be expected from you as a Process Administrator?

      • Accurate and timely preparation of processes including approvals and controls as requested by the Centre for Accounting Process Technician, Centre for Accounting Process Manager, and Centre for Accounting Finance Manager

      • Contacting Suppliers to settle monies owed to the business, responding to queries from Partners and external Suppliers

      • Processing assigned transactions and activities as directed and within agreed deadlines in a timely and accurate manner

      • Resolving internal and external Finance queries promptly in an effective and professional manner

      • Establishing professional relationships with the team and stakeholders

      • Ensuring output is delivered with a focus on 'getting it right first time' through attention to detail

      • Identifying and implementing continuous improvements to processes

      • Ensuring compliance with key relevant internal controls and regulatory requirements including those required under the Internal Controls Framework (ICF)

      • Handling confidential and sensitive data in a professional manner


      Day to day, what you will be doing in the Trade team:

      In the Trade team, you will be responsible for responding to phone and email queries, raising invoices and credit notes, and setting up new Goods for Resale suppliers. Responsibilities also include maintaining supplier master data, validating bank details, chasing outstanding debts, conducting credit checks, and managing administration and liquidation processes and responding to electronic invoicing queries.

      You will also be required to actively participate in team and key stakeholder meetings, and handle ad-hoc tasks to support ongoing projects.

      Day to day, what you will be doing in the Non-Trade team:

      In the Non-Trade team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, analysing statements, and handling phone and email queries. Responsibilities extend to continuous improvement projects, supporting the Approvals & Control Manager with credit card management, ensuring I-Expenses compliance and audit processing, and managing manual cheque processing.

      You will also be required to actively participate in team meetings and provide support for purchase order queries, along with ad-hoc tasks to support ongoing projects.

      Essential skills:

      • Good IT skills, experience working with systems

      Desirable:

      • Experience using Excel

      • Finance (Oracle) experience due to the nature of the tasks involved
