      Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Process Analyst based out of our Manchester office.

      About the Team

      The Ratings Business Analytics team provides high-quality, in-depth strategic analysis to drive better outcomes for Fitch Ratings. The team works closely with the Ratings Operations heads on business transformation initiatives, including developing business cases, evaluating cost/benefits for new initiatives, and reviewing and making recommendations on process re-engineering.

      How You’ll Make an Impact:

      • Support experienced team members with process documentation, analysis, and improvement activities. Create and maintain process maps, flowcharts, and simple documentation for operational processes. Use basic tools (e.g., Visio) to support process mapping and analysis.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to understand current processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and enhancement.
      • Review and update documentation to reflect accurate and current practices.
      • Participate in projects that involve process standardization, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement efforts.
      • Stay curious and engaged, continuously learning about best practices in process improvement and data-driven decision-making.

      You May be a Good Fit if:

      • Bachelor’s degree required.
      • 1 - 2 years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
      • Interest in developing a career in business process analysis, process improvement, or operations.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
      • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
      • Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
      • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
      • Interest in financial services or credit ratings.

      What Would Make You Stand Out:

      • Prior Credit Ratings experience or knowledge.
      • Experience with more sophisticated process mapping software and tools.
      • Lean Six Sigma Certification at either Yellow Belt or Green Belt level
