      Job Title: Process Engineer

      Job Description

      We are seeking an intermediate-level Process Engineer to focus on Well Pad specific projects. This role involves working on a variety of heavy oil projects for domestic and international clients, including FEED studies, modular packages, and full turnkey EPFC projects.

      Responsibilities

      • Acquire in-depth technical expertise in heavy oil processing, particularly in well pads.
      • Lead and mentor junior engineers, including delegation, checking, and authentication of professional work products.
      • Become a critical decision-maker while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineering and design professionals.
      • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
      • Gain practical experience by overseeing the fabrication and assembly of projects at our facilities.
      • Travel domestically and internationally for startup and commissioning support.

      Essential Skills

      • Minimum of 4 years of experience in heavy oil processing with specific experience in SAGD and well pads.
      • Experience in EPC and/or Fabricator environments.
      • Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and internal team members.
      • Proficiency in HYSYS and other engineering software such as BR&E ProMax, VMGSim Symmetry, and Flarenet.
      • HAZOP experience.
      • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous small projects and authenticate engineering documents.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in sizing process equipment such as separators, treaters, FWKO, heat exchangers, PSVs, flare systems, control valves, pumps, and compressors.
      • Experience designing alternative processes in Glycol Dehydration, Sweetening, Mechanical Refrigeration, Oil Processing, Compression, and Water Treating.
      • Newly certified P.Eng or E.I.T who is nearing completion of their designation.

      Work Environment

      The role is on-site 5 days per week, with 95% of work conducted in-office. There is potential for occasional site visits during construction phases

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
