      How to contribute to our vision

      Global Manufacturing Engineering department is looking for a highly motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer, to develop and deploy the complete assembly processes within our COG NPI team. The role will work closely with the rest of process engineering areas of NPI and key stakeholders involved in productivity improvement tasks.

      This position will be responsible for the integration of the analysis, improvement, adaptation, and deployment of complete assembly processes, including the necessities for tooling and equipment, test , process documentation or quality inspection and control, as well as providing technical guidance for others.

      Key Tasks:

      • Baseline Bill of Process definition, control, update and improvement for nacelles main modules (nacelle, hub&, drive train), according to SGRE Onshore industrial strategy in a multiproduct, within WF adaptation including testing process definition and upgrade (from development to manufacturing projects)

      • Work join with manufacturing engineering local team, to develop the optimum material flow strategy within factory (VSM), process flow chart and operations & tasks structure (routings) within Lean Manufacturing principles and industry best of the art benchmarking.

      • Operations & tasks balancing, determination of the optimum work content and cycle time to assure the takt time demanded for every plant in prototype, test assemblies and roll outs.

      • Establish the best “make or buy” strategy, combining the optimum process definition for the factory and supply chain strategy, and collaborate in CAPEX analysis, consolidation and validation per plant.

      • Coordinate and manage the performance of comprehensive and detailed process works instructions.

      • Participate within multidisciplinary teams for critical problems solving (8D´s). Identify quality requirements and support for inspection method/requirements.

      • Collaborate with health and safety team to validate design, processes and develop tools if needed and to request support for those H&S risks identified.

      • dIdentify innovative technologies to improve manufacturing processes, including the factory digitalization within Industry 4.0

      Other requirements:

      • Engineering Degree or Superior Technical Degree

      • Experience with industrial engineering concepts—such as line balancing, work content, cycle time, etc..

      • Experience developing new manufacturing processes and introducing new production lines and new processes into a production environment within timelines of 12 months or less

      • Experience transitioning products from prototypes to serial production

      • Experience with 3D models.

      • Experience creating Work Instructions.

      • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in advanced at challenging business environments

      What you need to make a difference

      • You are passionate about renewable energy and the sense of the importance to lead the change.

      • You are willing to travel at least 60 days in a year

      • Fluid English written and spoken, based on working environment capability (C1)

      • Good understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances
