Job Description
- Req#: 489820
- Implements new equipment installation, commissioning, and production start-up.
- Develops and implements projects, activities, experiments, and statistical analyses for the achievement of process capability (all critical characteristics).
- Implements measurement systems, devices, and/or instruments to monitor and control a process.
- Directs Group Leaders to achieve process output requirements (i.e., OEE, Process Capability, and Regulatory).
- Compiles and writes training materials and conducts process training.
- Documents (safe operating procedures) for new/upgraded equipment and process modifications.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of equipment vendors’ changes, upgrades, and innovations through frequent contact with equipment manufacturers and related tooling suppliers.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or equivalent amount of previous relevant experience.
- Three (3) years of equipment design and installations experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook)
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work with all levels of people in achievement of plant objectives.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills.
- Six-Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Magnet wire experience with equipment design and installation focus
- Environmental, health and safety knowledge
Position Summary:
Implements new processes, equipment, and procedures to obtain OEE, Process Capacity, and Regulatory goals/requirements. Helps to implement projects, experiments, and customer samples. Works in coordination with, operations, quality, and engineering/maintenance teams.
