      Description

      • Develops electrical test vehicles and fabrication of electrical devices such as capacitors, Schottky diodes and transistors including process steps such as lithography, etch, deposition (dielectrics and metals), anneals and wet cleans.
      • Helps perform recipe development as needed to fine tune various unit processes. Helps maintain lab equipment in working order by working with vendors as needed and performing preventive checks and qualifications and SPC.
      • Performs material characterization using optical inspection, ellipsometry, XRF, profilometry etc. and understands SEM, TEM, AFM, XPS and other metrology techniques.
      • With the help of senior engineers, defines, maintains, and improves process flow runsheets. Maintains logs and tracking sheets with detailed processing information using internal tools.

      Qualifications

      Requirements:

      • Requires Master’s/PhD degree, Majors: Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry
      • The ideal candidate is biased to action and hands on experience.
      • Requires user level experience in a fab of running lithography, etch, deposition, anneal, cleans and physical characterization.
      • Understands material characterization, device processing and electrical testing of semiconductor devices.
      • Has a good understanding of thin-films and / or thin-film device physics.
      • Detail oriented and organized.
      • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
      • Works independently with minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

      Experience in the following areas is a big plus but not critical: E-beam fabrication, python, and device simulation platforms.

      U.S. Salary Range:

      $120,000.00 - $165,000.00

      The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

      For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
