Lithography Process Engineer

Summary of Role:

onsemi is seeking a process engineer in the lithography (LTH) sector for its manufacturing facility in East Fishkill, NY. This process engineering role develops and improves manufacturing processes used for new and existing products. Some responsibilities are:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development of new technologies, and the transfer of those technologies from development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Ensuring excellent quality controls and procedures are in place, documented, and well deployed.
• Supporting the manufacturing line with daily events and in extended tool downs.
• Working to continuously improve all areas of process performance, defect levels, speed, efficiency, quality controls, and cost.
• Providing technical guidance to process technicians.
• Ensuring on-target delivery and cycle time for all products and clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: B.S. degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or other related engineering or physical sciences discipline.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in English Language - written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, and exhibit a high-level of interest in understanding and solving complex technical problems.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and/or LITHO concepts is a plus.
