      About the Role

      Reporting to the Process Leader, you’ll join a dynamic support team focused on maximizing the productivity of our paper machine. You’ll work closely with shift teams, sharing knowledge and solving problems to enhance performance.

      This is your opportunity to make a real difference—bringing your expertise to improve both current operations and future outcomes at Skelmersdale Mill.

      What You Will Do

      • Be a safety role model, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of care.
      • Take ownership of a specific area of the machine, while gaining insight into the full coverting process.
      • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
      • Lead root cause analysis, submit Capex requests, and manage improvement projects from concept to completion.
      • Coach and support shift teams to foster collaboration and optimize performance.

      Who Are You?

      You bring hands-on experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment, ideally supported by a degree in process, chemical, or engineering disciplines. Your passion for coaching and developing others sets you apart.

      You’re analytical, influential, and driven by results. With a solid grasp of lean management and project management, you’re ready to lead change and deliver measurable impact.
