      Our Opportunity

      North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support to the plastic injection molding and coatings process to include: the analysis, development, planning, and execution of improvements through process system design, equipment design, and automation. Specifically focused on new technologies, existing process integration, and strategic development of new methods and concepts.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities

      Your Priorities

      • Track and identify material, process, and equipment performance for feedback into design through evaluation of productivity, downtime, scrap, etc.
      • Manages, coordinates, and implements automation project to improve effectiveness, quality, and cost.
      • Communicates with management, engineering, and other colleagues to ensure that best practices are shared across the organization.
      • Develops and implements automation process, procedures, and standards.
      • Provides technical assistance to production engineering and manufacturing to help resolve quality concerns, increase productivity, and improve safety.
      • Coordinates the implementation of automation processes and technologies both to and from Koito and its affiliates.

      Requirements

      Your Background

      Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline, plus 6 to 8 years of experience in a process related position, to include 2 to 4 years of experience with automation..

      Engineering experience in automotive parts manufacturing, industrial controls and programming, and industrial robots is preferred

      Salary Range: $98,000- $108,000
