      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to optimize processes for cost, time, quantity, and quality of product production. This role offers the opportunity to work with major players in the Aerospace and Defense industry, applying your experience and growing with the support of management and senior process engineers.

      Must Have Skills (Non- Negotiables)

      • 3+ years experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
      • Experience in improving shop floor processes using lean manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma and time studies.
      • Proficiency in optimizing processes for cost and time.
      • Ability to conduct time studies.
      • Skill in creating corrective work instructions.

      Responsibilities

      • Optimize processes for cost, time, quantity, and quality of the products produced.
      • Provide manufacturing teams with process capabilities necessary to achieve technology roadmap specifications and document these capabilities for annual planning.
      • Deliver technical process training to manufacturing teams.
      • Lead projects to define and plan capital requirements and expenses to meet technology roadmap milestones.
      • Assist in developing annual plans for equipment, capital, yield improvement, and expenses.
      • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to standards and registration systems.
      • Work on prototype products to develop manufacturing processes.
      • Collaborate with manufacturing on first-time parts to ensure proper processes are developed and meet delivery schedules.
      • Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions for production processes.
      • Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems for production processes.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Knowledge of SPC-Statistical Process Control systems software.
      • Experience in the Aerospace industry.

      Work Environment

      This position is 100% onsite, with flexible working hours from 9am to 5pm. You will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, reporting directly to the engineering manager.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
