Job Purpose
To work with business to identify areas where business processes and performance can be developed or improved, including assisting the RPA centre of excellence with the development of RPA solutions where appropriate. The aim is to apply business process principals in the analysis of As Is business operations for the creation of the To Be business operating models, development of automated solutions as applicable and creation of relevant artifacts.
Job Responsibilities
• Work with business stakeholders to prioritise process deliverables, in alignment to strategic focus, and provide progress reports
• Proactively plan process deliverables based on relevant solution delivery method
• Design and execute process improvement initiatives, taking responsibility for individual delivery in terms of quality, scope and time through agile delivery methods
• Conduct As Is and To Be discovery, analysis and design using relevant analysis techniques
• Assist in business value & ROI assessment, value chain analysis (cross functional process mapping) and linking business strategy to process architecture
• Understanding of process and workflow streamlining, problem resolution, change management, rules capture and rules coding
• Understand Enterprise processes frameworks and apply Nedbank methods and practices
• Understand process measurements focusing on what metrics to capture, where and how to capture them and implementation of performance measurements and benefits realisation
• Understand when and how to use simulation to measure performance improvement
• Understand and apply industry and company change management policies and practices to process initiatives including change communication plans
• Understand the required risk controls within the domain risk appetite and provide risk mitigation plans for process improvement impacts
• Ability to use BPM related tools including project planning and tracking and knowledge of RPA
• Ability to work with the data architects to define dataflow, data transformation, interface needs and sources for all information where required
• Identify opportunities for automation and assist in the various stages regarding the efficient selection, care, testing, maintenance, upgrading and phasing out of automation solutions.
• Ability to review solution plans and help the solution manager define technical/technology/RPA needs
• Facilitate the development of Process Definition Document/Solution Design Documents, check and sign off on the Process Definition Document (PDD).
• Assist with the creation of relevant artefacts created during the development process and maintenance in the repository.
• Conduct benchmark studies, identify leading practices, set and maintain departmental professional standards.Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Preferred Qualification
Engineering degree/IT/ Business degree
Preferred Certifications
LEAN/ SIX SIGMA - Yellow belt / CBPP/ Business Analysis
Minimum Experience Level
Technical / Professional Knowledge
• Process optimization and mapping
• Principles of project management, Agile concepts
• Relevant regulatory knowledge
• System Development Life cycle(SDLC)
• Functions Specific Policies Procedures and system Knowledge
• Modelling-EPC/BPM N/UML
