- Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing
- Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
- Field activities such as site investigations and observations
- Collect and record data and documentation
- Candidate should be in the process of pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Experience and/or coursework in water/wastewater treatment and conveyance preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite a plus (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills essential
- Previous related internship experience a plus but not necessary

Detailed Description:
As a student intern, you will perform duties that require professional training but little or no experience. You may be assigned, under close supervision, to do simple engineering design work, such as preparing plans, cost estimates, and specifications. You may also perform routine field inspection and testing to check performance or conformity with plans and specifications. You will gain exposure to engineering work in various engineering fields (wastewater, water, construction management).

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
$19.60 - $26.90/hour
