  Process Specialist, 2nd Shift

  New Bern, NC / Full-time

  Your responsibilities

  The Process Specialist is responsible for training new associates in his/her area, maintaining product flow and promoting a team environment. This includes: meeting production goals; filling in for absent associates, acting as backup Team Leader when necessary, safety awareness; and meeting quality levels.

  · Maintain awareness of BSH safety guidelines

  · Adheres to BSH safety guidelines by wearing and utilizing required PPE

  · Understand and participate in 5S process

  · Understand and follow work instructions, necessary for safe operation of machines.

  · Provide proper training for positions in the area, including methods, quality, safety, productivity and parts knowledge.

  · Ability to define and solve problems with parts and assembly stations

  · Perform required paperwork such as SPC, quality checks, parts ordering, etc. if needed.

  · Perform and assist with pre-shift and post-shift actives such as TPM, 5s, etc

  · Ensure factory KPIs are met and reported by utilizing SAP

  · Ability to perform all positions on his/her area and have flexibility to work in other areas when needed

  · Help establish quality standards for product parts.

  · Act as back up Team Leader when necessary

  · Daily follow-up with Team Leader to foster a positive team environment.

  · Perform all other duties as assigned.

  Your profile

  · High-School Diploma – Required

  · 0-2 Years of Experience (Manufacturing processes, plant safety regulations) – Required

  · 0-2 Years of Experience (Manufacturing processes, plant safety regulations) – Preferred

  · Ability to learn SAP

  · Basic Excel, outlook, Microsoft office

  · Basic 5S

  · Basic manufacturing knowledge

  · Good communication

  · SPC knowledge

  · Basic measurement instruments and machine control knowledge

  Your Pay & Benefits

  The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

  Benefits offered include the following:

  · Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.

  · Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.

  · The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).

  · 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).

  · 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).

  · BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
