Job Description
- Req#: 50054
- Review critical performance parameters daily/monthly/annually and action any items that are deviating from specifications.
- Maintain historical records of operating parameters, monitoring them for longer term potential deviations.
- Accountable for the identification of Capital requirements for longer term production efficiency improvement projects.
- Address immediate operating parameters out of specification by way of technical adjustments and operator coaching.
- Review and inspect the operating units daily, for efficient functionality, addressing any potential risks to achieve target Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
- Assist with problem solving and corrective actions. This includes the facilitation, initiation and participation in team-based problem solving.
- Develop Best Operating practices for Recovery plant.
- Train, mentor and coach Recovery operating team for development and sustainability.
- Always stay abreast of international standard and trends to ensure latest technology evaluations for plant upgrades.
- Engineer solutions to process and operational problems.
- Be an active member of the Ngodwana BLRBAC committee.
- Manage people and act in Production Manager capacity.
- BSc / BTech Chemical Engineering or BTech Pulp and Paper
- 5 Years’ Utilities or Recovery experience
