The Service Specialist Team’s Processing Specialist will be trained to support the agency’s Personal Lines service team through accurate processing of time-sensitive tasks and timely distribution of documents to our clients. This opportunity will allow candidates with limited industry experience the ability to break into the industry!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN SST PERSONAL LINES PROCESSING SPECIALIST:

• Develop a knowledge of carrier websites and navigation in order to extract documents and process changes
• Respond to requests for address and mortgagee changes, including providing evidence of coverage as needed
• Manage daily tasks assigned by the service team such as mailing policies, endorsements, and refund checks to insured
• Update client information in database management system
• Manage unmatched Agency downloads in the Agency’s data management interface
• Private client cancellation text notifications
• Update Constant Contact Distribution Lists for monthly renewal emails
• Create Monthly Renewal Letters for client mailings
• Create Monthly New Business GLBA / ICD Notices (mailings) for Personal Lines
• Manage notice of cancellation activities, including calling Mortgage Companies if necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• College degree or some combination of education and comparable work experience preferred
• Currently hold, or be able to obtain with 90 days, a Florida 4-40 license and/or 2-20 license
• Intermediate computer skills including Word, Outlook & Excel
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of Personal insurance documents and coverages
