      Join Sanofi as Procure to Pay (P2P) Head Sanofi Business Services (SBS). In this role you will provide leadership and expertise on Procure to Pay sub-processes, as part of the global S2P end to end process , aiming at maximizing value and operational efficiency while enabling a seamless user experience. You are contributing to Sanofi strategic priority to accelerate the group transformation.

      Use previous knowledge in Global Business Services/ Shared Services and with deep expertise in the relevant Finance, Procurement processes and automation technologies, you will implement the to-be agreed S2P Target Operating Model, which will allow the P2P organization to become top quartile (Hackett benchmark) in efficiency, effectiveness and user experience (UX).

      Our Team:

      While Procurement is accountable for the S2P end-to-end process, Sanofi Business Services (SBS) is responsible for designing and delivering various of its steps (i.e.: Contracting, Vendor Master Data, Indirect Purchasing (PR/PO/GR), Invoice Receiving/Processing/Payments or T&E).

      As highly transversal end-to-end processes, P2P head role will maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders in Procurement, Finance, Legal and Business (GBUs as well as functions such as Manufacturing & Supply or Research & Development).

      He/she leads a team of 650 people (250 Sanofi employees and 400 FTEs located with Accenture as BPO), in the 5 Regions (North America, Europe, Greater China, JPAC and International) and an operational annual budget of over 50 M€.

      Main responsibilities:

      • Contribute to the strategic priority of simplifying the purchasing experience as well as improving the cash position of Sanofi. Responsible for key activities such as Vendor Master Data Management, Indirect Purchasing (PR/PO/GR), Invoice Receiving, Invoice Processing, Payments and Integrated Travel & Expense Management

      Service Delivery

      • Accountable for the efficient, high quality and compliant delivery of the sub processes covered by the role
      • Lead P2P organization, including regional teams, Global Process Owner team and BPO relationship management, globally
      • Create a culture of cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork and ensure a smooth interface to the relevant stakeholders inside and outside of SBS organization
      • Establish a strong partnership with our global BPO provider and plan out the value delivery roadmap, to achieve targets set out in the contract
      • Cultivate operational partnerships with Procurement, CFOs (Corporate and Regions), Treasury, Tax, Legal, Finance Business Partners, GBUs, Manufacturing & Supply, R&D and Digital, to support the integration and implementation of efficient processes and policies
      • Define, jointly with procurement, and produce service KPIs and dashboards to measure and improve performance (cost, efficiency, quality, compliance, user experience and satisfaction)
      • Create, understand, and apply best practices from within SBS or external best-in-class Global Business Services (GBS) organizations

      Digital Transformation and Process Management

      • Lead a team of Global Process Owners (GPOs) and project managers, refining and improving constantly the Target Operating Model (TOM)
      • Implement the S2P/P2P roadmap, drives automation and promotes process intelligence, to enhance user experience through digital eco-systems.
      • Constantly scout for new (digital) opportunities to further improve efficiency, effectiveness and UX for Sanofi and its external stakeholders
      • In charge of Coupa sponsorship for Sanofi
      • Deploy the S2P/P2P core model (process flow charts, business rules, technology landscape, KPIs, …) with highest possible adherence to set standards
      • Keep S2P core model up to date through new releases, when appropriate, and establish a Core Model governance with relevant Sanofi stakeholders

      Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)

      • Reinforce the BPO strategy set out for the remaining 1.5 years and build the strategy for the following years to further increase efficiency and effectiveness
      • Implement a best-in-class relationship with our current / future BPO provider, in the spirit of a true strategic partnership

      People Management

      • Lead the P2P organization
        • 5 Regional P2P Heads
        • Global P2P Transformation Project team consisting of GPO and relevant Global Project Leaders (GPLs)
        • BPO Relationship and BPO contract management, to oversee the BPO partnership

      About you

      • Experience: Executive profile, with track record of having managed global / large teams and operations across complex geographies.
      • Soft skills: Authentic, collaborative, and mindful leader, holding oneself responsible and accountable for the overall success within his team and towards senior management and internal customers. Mindset of challenging the status quo and exploring more effective ways of working
      • Technical skills: Program and project leadership skills, with track record of S2P/P2P executional excellence. Ability to think strategically and develop a compelling vision, but also be able to dive deep into operational problems when required. Performance management and continuous improvement in RACI. Lean management expert. BPO management. Digital savvy
      • Preferences: Knowledge of SOX, fundamental accounting principles. SAP/Concur/Coupa experience. Lean and Six Sigma training and/or certification
      • Languages: Oral and written fluency in English
